Losing My Virginity and Other Dumb Ideas is the debut novel by the author Madhuri Banerjee. The book deals with the story of a thirty-year-old virgin who has a successful professional career but is still a virgin. After a long and failed pursuit of finding true love, the protagonist decides to lose her virginity without bothering about love. The drama woven on this track is the crux of the book. Kaveri is a thirty-year-old working woman, who is single all her life. She is a language expert and works as an interpreter. She has read countless books on how to date and knowing men in general.
