'A Widow's Gift' is the moving story of Radha, a Brahmin child bride and her trials and tribulations as a widow in the rigid orthodox Hindu community in the Nepal of her times. The underlying theme of the evil of Child marriage and early widowhood, without having ever consummating her marriage, and her ostracism from society at large are an eyeopener for those not acquainted with the rigidity of orthodox Hindus.
