BOOK SUMMARY

Avengers Vs X-Men Companion is a collection of comic books that narrate the story of how the return of the Phoenix Force leads to a war between the two superhero groups, the Avengers and the X-Men. Some of the titles in this compilation include Avengers Academy, Uncanny X-Men, New Avengers, Wolverine and the X-Men and X-Men Legacy. Avengers Vs X-Men Companion starts off by showing how a member of the Nova Corps, Sam Alexander, arrives with a warning to Terrax's home. Before he can inform the host planet, the powerful Phoenix comes and destroys everything. Alexander survives and starts his journey towards Earth, to deliver the same message that the Phoenix is coming. Meanwhile, Cable returns from the future and learns that the Avengers will be responsible for the death of Hope Summers. in order to stop her from dying, Cable decides to destroy the superheroes. He kidnaps Falcon and holds Captain America captive. He also defeats Iron Man and injects Red Hulk with a techno-organic virus. Hope and Cyclops beg Cable to release the prisoners and just then, Wolverine and Spider-Man arrive. The Avengers are freed, but Cable tells Cyclops that the Avengers will destroy Hope. A few days later, Alexander lands on Earth and tells the Avengers about the Phoenix. Wolverine tells Captain America that the Phoenix is probably coming for Hope. Captain America immediately asks Cyclops to hand Hope over, but he refuses. A war between the two groups breaks out. Meanwhile, Hope runs away, thinking that she must end this war, while Thor prepares to tackle the Phoenix in space. The X-Men and the Avengers start looking for Hope, while Iron Man starts making a weapon to destroy the Phoenix. This comic book series has all your favourite super heroes and is a collection that can be treasured by fans.
