Born in
1889 in Kerala, Swami Maharaj studied and lived the spiritual
life from a very early age. He rejected marriage and a career
and in 1923 he completely renounced evcerything worldly and became
a sanyasin. He wnet to live in the Himalayas and he spent
the rest of his life wandering in that region.
