The author, Geert Verbreke, was born in Flanders, Belgium in
1948. Astrologically a mercurial, creative and talkative Gemini,
he is an expert on Himalayan singing bowls. A passionate artist,
staunch vegetarian and non-smoker, Geert does not claim to be
a gura or a teacher.
He has recorded several CDs. improvising with his peculiar
sensitivity for Himalayan bowls. For his own listening he is
drawn to the music of artists such as Arno, the Beatles, Gilgert
Isbin, Keith Jarrett, Stephan Micus, Colin Offord and the Pink
Floyd.
